I have to say…. This was one of the easier hikes to a peak that I've done since I started the challenge. Saddle junction trail was smooth sailing, easy to follow and the trail was well marked. We passed the burn area and it was sad to see so many dead trees. The last couple of miles weren't as bad as I thought they were going to. It was more of a pain to stop for others to pass and get a rhythm going again than the actual climb up. I loved every minute of this hike. It also helped that I went with a group of experience hikers. They were very nice and inclusive.
