The weather forecast was rain around 1:00 pm. So I planned to finish my hike before the rains hit the ground and it all went as planned. Weather was perfect – sunny, clear, but windy and chilly. I was expecting the trail to be muddy due to rains the pervious day but the trail was only wet in good way and not at all muddy. Saw easily avoidable water poodles few places. I was a the parking around 8:30 and surprising only 3 cars parked. Usually you are lucky to get parking. I came to hike here on new year and couldn't get parking anywhere and drove all the way to the peak.
It was quite chilly and windy at the peak. I forgot to bring my beanie and gloves so did not stay at the peak for long time.
Overall it was an awesome hike.
