2021 was really the year of Mount Diablo for me. In the first half of the year, I had a chance to visit six of Diablo’s peaks (Main Summit, North Peak, Eagle Peak, Twin Peaks, Mount Olympia, and Black Point) and, in the latter half of the year, I visited the summit again during Brazen Racing’s Summit Stomp 30K trail race. So it was apt that I got to celebrate my birthday weekend summiting the mountain again with a bunch of friends. We also went camping and had a great time! Thanks Diablo for making my birthday so memorable.
