Hike #2 in our quest for the 6-pack. This one put us non-locals to the test, only 3 of 4 would summit. The weather was chilly, but on and off clouds promised intermittent views up top and along the trail. We powered through as did many other cheery trail goers. Thick clouds made for interesting going around the rim. My beard and hat-puff frosted while I waited for my companions near the summit. North and Middle Sister remained cloud capped, but Bend and Broken Top were sighted. We cheers'd, tipped one, and made haste down the mountain. A little sore, but excited we enjoyed chilli mac and a brief fire before crashing for the night.
