First peak done and it's an easy one to start off. Beautiful area with a nice drive. Got there around 7am and only a few cars also there. Weather was chilly and windy but got better as the day moved on. Neither the little bits of snow or the mud were a problem. Great views at the summit with plenty of places to sit and relax. As we got back to the car there were a ton of other vehicles parked and so many people on the trail on our way down. So yeah, as with all popular peaks getting an early start is best. On to the next peak.
