Was a spookie looking hike, mist and in the clouds all day. Light rain but stayed dry as had rain jackets due to forecast prediction. No bugs. Only seen 5 others and 3 turned back. Trail in great conditions

So so sad to see the charred forests!!! Glad a bit of green survived at the peak!
Going to see if the Forsee road is navigable to do it in September.
Yes luckily we all make it habit it bring layers. The hike was still enjoyable just getting to know the new attire. Also a lot of wildflowers making up for it. And even though the trees/area still looked charred, was still a beautiful site to see especially the new growth. Hope you make it in September
