I took the scenic Five Oaks Trail on the way up but stayed on the main trail on the way down. Everything was fairly green with flowers showing up here and there. It was a bit warm but there was a strong breeze/light wind for most of the day. The views were nice but a bit hazy. You couldn't see most of the other mountains nor the ocean. However, there was a gorgeous field of poppies in full bloom at the top. I highly recommend summiting while the poppies are still in bloom.
