I recruited my 16 year old daughter and two of her friends (ie. the Super Stars) to do this with me.  We set out at 6:52 am, scrambled through the woods and hit the dirt road.  Took some amazing view and snack breaks along the way. We were thankful for the wind as it was a vey hot day.  Hit the top in just over 2.5 hours and took in the panorama.  Unfortunately it was a bit hazy, but beautiful nonetheless!!  Came back down at a steady pace and were done by before noon.  It was 104 degrees by the time we got back to the car.  Not crowded, great trail and stunning views.  The best part was the company–two of the girls hadn't hike much before and all of them did great!!  At least one of them wants to hike more peaks with me 🙂
