1st hike of the Six Peak Challenge.  Started off the day at 9:30am and although the sun was out it was still a bit chilly. The trail was not crowded at all and passed a couple of people on the way up to 4 corners.  Met a group that had just came down from the peak and they were as friendly as all hikers are!  They made sure we had enough water (we did) before we continued on to the peak.  It was suggested on previous posts to use trekking poles on the last mile of the hike, and we are glad we had them.  It is a slippery scramble to the top and well worth the view.  As glad as we were to have the trekking poles on the way up, we really used them for the way down.  It was a beautiful day for a hike.  Parking was easy, don't forget your Adventure Pass.
