It was a pretty chilly start, but the air was fresh and crisp. It was a Monday morning, so the parking lot was empty and I had the trail to myself. It felt good to be on the trails again after a period of chilly, rainy weather. This is the first peak of my 2024 SoCal freehike challenge.
