First off, what a great hike. Views were aplenty and plenty of sections to get your blood pumping. Arrived to Red Box at 6:50 and was third car there, however probably 7 pulled up while I laced up and hit the trailhead.
Once on the trail saw only 1 pair of hikers until the peak, joined up and had a great chat on the way up to the top! 3-4 false peaks in the last mile really make the final peak worth it, great views at each but finish strong!
This was the 3rd of my 6 pack, and definitely a new favorite. Get early and be weary of the temperatures, can be cold one day then very warm the next. Today was very warm by 8:30am.
