3rd peak for my friends and I. We started at around 6:15 AM. Plenty of parking in parking lot at that time, at the same time we were getting there, another group(s) also arrived and were headed into the same way we were. From the beginning there’s slight incline, levels out though and then becomes pretty parallel, you basically go around the mountain until you hit the second sign that states strawberry peak or strawberry meadows, that’s when the real work starts. The incline is no joke from that point forward. We let a few groups pass us since we were definitely taking to slow, but not too slow.

     There’s a peak after some climbing on, but it’s not the actual peak, others called is “false peak” but eventually we made it to the peak and man looking up to where the signs were visible was like Christmas morning! We definitely always get a “high” from reaching our destination. Hard work pays off! Can’t wait for our next peak!
