Strawberry Peak was a breeze the first 2 miles from Red Box Canyon, not much to see but the road. Once you entered the junction, you begin a real workout of rolling hills. We did not know which was the peak because of the many ascends and descends that you have to go through. The trail was not very well marked, a serious of rough terrain along side desert vegetation such as yucca plants were flourishing during that time of year. We had to scrambled thorugh some rocks. We saw people fall down going up and coming down. I fell for the first time on a trail coming down. Once we reached the summit, we were disappointed that the sign was nowhere to be found. The highlight is that I brought fresh strawberries with me and a strawberry beer toenjoyed at the summit.
