A great day for a hike. Temps in the mid 60s allowed for not too cold/ not too hot conditions as we move from shadows to sunlight. Last 1.5-ish mile up (3.5 mi to peak) was a bit rude in some areas with rocks to climb and yuccas to get pricked with. A little bummed no elevation plaque or survey marker (unless we didn't see it?), but still great with beautiful views. Overall, a fabulous start to the challenge!
