My hiking partner and I started the hike about 8:30 am. The weather was good. The beginning of the trail was easy and in good condition.  I found some of the map directions confusing on the trail. It was beneficial to see other hikers on  the trail to assist with directions. We saw other 6 pack hikers on the trail which made it fun to talk about various hikes.  The steep rocky peaks were difficult. The vistas were pretty.
