Six plus one! With some residual soreness after last weeks San Gorgonio hike, this was a short and relatively easy hike. It was hot, but I found a nice ‘soft' rock in the shade for lunch and some sketching. I had considered continuing westwards from Strawberry peak and return North via Strawberry Meadows, but the decent was too treacherous, so I returned. Lots of spiky Yuccas, so wear long pants. The views are great from the top, but you never really escape the roaring motorcycles on the Angels Crest Highway – minus one star for that.
