My 11 year old and I hiked Strawberry Peak today. If was cool at the start, bud sunny. The trail was in decent condition although there was a lot of debris and fallen rocks along the way. The trail is pretty easy until the last mile or so when it begins to sharply go uphill and require a small bit of rock scrambling. That part proved the most exhausting, but we made it.
There were two sign boards at the peak which was great. We signed our names in the booklets, took photos and had lunch with some folks up top.
The whole thing lunch and breakfast included took 5 hours.
