I arrived at Red Box Picnic area early, around 7:00 AM, and there were already 9 cars there. The weather was quite nice, in the upper 60’s with a slight breeze. By mid morning the sun was brutal, so make sure to bring plenty of water. I encountered about a dozen people throughout this hike. The scenery was great, I took my time and finished around 11:00.
