Started the hike at 6:45am from Redbox and finished after 4.5hrs with a casual pace. The first 2 miles are well shaded and refreshing! As we began the ascent over the last 1.5 miles, we lost the shelter of the mountain’s shadow and had to withstand the sun’s ray. This easily comprises the more difficult interval of the journey. There is some minor clamoring involved but it’s achievable with steady perseverance!
