Started the hike early in the morning to beat the heat. Got back to the car by 10:30am and the sun was already heating hard. I was surprised the trail wasn’t busy.

There was a lot of red ants at the summit. Saw a lot of lizards, only one snake.

I recommend taking enough hydration.
