Since Mount Baldy is closed due to recent wildfires we hiked this as an alternate to the original six peak challenge. As a note, a number of the alternates are also closed so options are limited. Checking in at around 7.5 miles this is a fairly quick hike compared to the other peaks in the original six, however, the last mile is up and up and somewhat of a gut punch since the previous part of the hike was not that strenuous. Did this on a weekday so there wasn't a lot of company. No water sources along the trail.
