Went w two girl friends. The drive was easy, no snow on the trail or the way there at all. I wore too much clothes, thin leggings w a long sleeve shirt and a light weight jacket to take off later r enough. Hiking shoes required. hiking pole is optional, but I will bring it next time for going downhill. thinking of wearing thin gloves next time to prevent from the rock scratch my hands. The hike was easy for me because I have been training for marathon for a while. One of my girl friends struggled a bit.
