A straightforward hike totaling about 7.5 miles in length. The trail was gentle for most of its length, though the last 3/4 of a mile up to the summit has some very steep terrain. While the trail was rocky in places, to my disappointment no actual rock scrambling was necessary along this route (despite being told it would be necessary). The only hazards are the thorn bushes and spiky plants that line the trail in places. There were some remnants of snow at the peak but nothing on the actual trail itself. There are some nice views at the top.
Not my favorite hike, to be honest, but fun nonetheless. Going early on a weekday (started around 7:30am) meant that we saw very few people on the trail. Easy parking.
