Hotter than expected, but still very nice. Gorgeous views of PV, LA, and Catalina Island. Took a new route (for me) going around the peak via Strawberry Meadows and ascending the peak via the mountaineers route. Unfortunately encountered an individual with an open fire near the top. Descended the normal route and back to the trailhead. Enjoyable hike!!!
