Into the parking area at 6 am to find only two other cars. Weather was great, no jacket needed when I left at 6:15. The walk to the peak was fun and the views were beautiful. Caught up to a small group of three near the top and shared good conversation as we ate and laughed as I signed the register with next months date. On the way back there were groups headed up and all were great at sharing the path. Shade both ways and a little breeze in my face on the way down. Got to my car at 10:45 to find parking full but there is room on street. Restrooms were open and very clean. Watch for motorcycles going fast both ways on Angekes Crest as you have to walk across to get to and from trail. A great walk Indeed.
