Got started pretty late in the day which put most of the upward trail directly in the line of the afternoon sun. Luckily Temps were still in the low 60s and a periodic breeze kept everything nice and enjoyable. Last mile to the peak can get a little loose and sandy in places very manageable and only a little more of a concern on the way down (only slipped on my butt once running down the mountain lol.) Fog rolled in as the sun dipped lower but still made for a beautiful view. Got a few good snowball throws in for good measure, couldnt hit the broad side of a barn. Finished the last mile down by headlamp Managed to squeeze out the whole thing in 3hrs 12 min. Very good start to the season. 1 down 11 to go!
