1/3/2021:

This was my first time to Strawberry Peak.  I heard from other hikers that Strawberry Peak was a great hike during the winter seasons.  Since this was my first time there, U came fully prepared.  I brought my microspikes, trekking poles, many extra layers if clothings to jeep myself warm, alot of water and food to fuel myself.

I started very earmy to get a parking spot.  I saw the sunrise as I hiked up to Strawberry Peak.  The trails were well maintained.  There were scattered patches of snow and ice.  I took it really slow.  Man, this hike was definitely hard.  I encountered the false summits.  It played with my mind.  I almost overshoot the real summit until I saw the pole marker of Strawberry Peak.  I was so so happy to be here on this Peak.  I celebrated my accomplishment by eating fresh strawberries and sipping on Champagne at Strawberry Peak.

Woohoo!  I am so proud of myself for hiking safely up to Strawberry Peak.
