What a great day! We started with no expectations as mostly and when we got closer to Icehouse Saddle, we realized how lucky we were to find snow up there. The fairy tale landscape, but also strong winds almost blew us away. We especially enjoyed the last part from Minor Saddle up the countless switchbacks because of the sugar covered nature and scenery. Arriving at the top was not less impressive. We couldn't stop taking pictures. The views in all directions were stunning. After having some lunch/picnic we had to get in motion again. The descent was much quicker and it's nice to see everything from the other perspective. We all enjoyed this hike very much. Without this Six-Pack challenge we signed up for, we would probably not have experienced Cucamonga, since Mt. Baldy was always in focus so far.
