I hiked up to Strawberry Peak last year February 14, 2021.  It was cold and windy.  This year on February 13, 2022 it was hot at 9:30 am at Red Box Picnic Area!  The heat slowed my hike up to the summit compared to last year.  It was windy at the peak which cool me down after that challenging hike in the heat.  The LA view was great.  The view of the snow cap Mount Baden Powell and its neighboring mountains was spectacular.
