August 7th I started my way up to summit Camels Hump in Huntington/Ducksbury, VT via the Monroe Trail. This would be my sixth summit for Six Pack of Peaks: New England in 2021.
Weather was warm but given the start time of my hike the temps were warm and had humidity. It did not offer views, stayed under tree line for much of the hike and it wasn’t until near summit. At the summit skies were hazy preventing you from seeing some of the most distant peaks. The summit offered 360 views. It was definitely challenging but a beautiful hike.
Trails: Monroe Trail -> Long Trail -> Long Trail -> Monroe Trail
Definitely recommend this hike to others and worth the trip.
