Strawberry Peak trailhead parking is available at Redbox, although Highway 2 is closed beyond Redbox. As for the trail, the lower portion of the trail in good condition with the exception of a small fallen tree across the trail, which required me to climb over it. The use trail ascending the peak had multiple paths in sections, making it difficult to follow. I do wish people would stay on the designated trail.
The summit was disappointing. Instead of a summit log, the peak box was full of trash, including tiny, unreadable notes. Why bother having a box, chained to a rock on the summit, containing trash? I was sadden to see there were three peak signs on the summit, all indicating different elevations for Strawberry Peak! One sign had pretty strawberries painted on it, but its stated elevation was more than 100 feet too low. Oh well, I guess having multiple pretty signs for the summit selfie is more important to some people than honest accuracy. To be fair, there is no benchmark on Strawberry Peak and without a map indicating elevation, one could pretty much put any thing they wanted and did.
