This was a great hike to the summit from the Mitchell Canyon trail head to top. The first mike is easy then just goes uphill from there.. there were many great flowers blooming and trail was full of butterflies. There’s some shade on hike but plan for warmer weather as day goes on.. this is a challenging hike and be prepared for steep inclines that just keep going . Yet do stop to take in all the scenic views all over Northern California.. finished at 13.75 miles round trip in approx 5 1/2 hours
