The initial trailhead was challenging to find, but we used the coordinates and parked in front of an old cow gate. We passed through some wires and hiked up an old jeep/fire road. We found a farm dog, named Patch, and he followed us up and back down through the terrain. Bonus hiker! Not planned to find him hiking the trails. Beautiful views with a bit of a Smokey haze in the distance as we climbed up. Very easy descend, but glad we started in the AM because there was no shade. Once we got to the top, there is no true trail to the edge that we found, so we just hiked up to the cliff overlook. Fun little day trip.
