The day was absolutely perfect. I took my (big and grown) nephew on his very first hike. He absolutely loved it but admittedly, regretted wearing vans. We took our time on the steep last half mile and once at the top, we rested and ate our favorite snack, Kimchi Spam Fried Rice. There were lots of people on the trails and as I encountered them, it quickly became apparent that most were there for the 6-Peak Challenge. It feels awesome to be apart of this!
