John Muir loved the word saunter to describe the sort of walking that happens in nature. This trail much was more saunter than hike. Among rolling hills, blooming flowers, and buzzing bees this was a joy. It’s tougher at the summit but the core trail is low gradient and very mellow.
There was lots of traffic though so if come out, aim earlier to avoid a crowd at the peak. The one I met were quite friendly but also quite loud.
