Decided last minute to jump in the car and hike this trail. Weather was perfect with many clouds overhead to keep the sun shaded (without the clouds it can get hot quickly). The trails were a bit rocky in places but easy to navigate. Many, many switchbacks and elevation gets pretty steep at the end but very doable. We took our time and enjoyed relaxing at the top. It took us exactly 3 hours round trip.  It’s such a beautiful trail but do know the parking lot is small and there are no bathrooms. The hike is worth it…just plan accordingly and try to arrive earlier to get a spot in the lot.  We felt this was the easiest one out of the 4 that we have chosen to hike so far and will definitely do it again.
