AllTrails takes you to a locked gate, drive a little past the gate and park in the turnout. The start of the trail is behind a campsite and a bit difficult to locate, use GPS to assist you. The trail is very overgrown but easy to follow. The climb is consistent and pleasant, with prolific wildflowers at higher elevations, absolutely beautiful. I would definitely start early, I was on the trail at 6am, there is very little protection high up. Views from the summit are awesome!
