Beautiful hike. But sad seeing all of the new homes being built into the desert landscape / mountains. Bulldozers digging on a Saturday morning so not the quiet hike that i typically like. Views in all directions… Four Peaks, Fountain Hills, Superstitions Scottsdale & Camelback mountain. Not much parking so we had to park 1.3 miles from the trailhead which added 2.6 miles to the walk.
