I'm doing these peaks with a great group of women from Girls Who Hike LA (#GWHLA). We arrived bright and early, before the sun came up, at the Cleveland National Forest near Lake Elsinore. Along the way, we had great views of the orange covered hills at Lake Elsinore. We got to see the orange beauty of the superbloom without all the chaos! All was great until we got to the last half mile. Then I understood why it was rated as “HARD” in AllTrails! Despite this, it was fun and the weather was just right!
