I have to say this was a nice hike with beautiful views from the top. It was an amazing day for hiking weather wise. The skies were clear and we had views of Mt. Hood and not sure maybe Mt. Rainier (someone can correct me if I'm wrong) there were wildflowers just starting to bloom.

We did have a hard time finding this the parking area off of 207, my directions were wrong that I got off of mountaineering website. And the gps took us to painted hills are. So make sure you have good directions (there is limited cell service in this area). The trail itself I wish was marked because wasn't really sure we were going the right way a lot if the time.  No signs at all saying sutton Mt. But trail was nice and wide (old Road) just a little of ruts from horses and cows hoofs sinking in mud then drying. But beautiful area beautiful day, and would never have known about it!! Great for dogs, we saw no other hikers!
