Recovering from an injury: This was my first hike of the year. Took pain meds and hiked slowly. I didn’t carry a pack. Joe carried all my gear. Used trekking poles and avoided the steep route keeping my back straight. My awesome HBTH friends made me feel so loved. It was a beautiful cool day and it felt great to breathe the fresh air and take in the gorgeous landscapes. Truly a blessed day that gave me hope for future hikes
