Today my friend and I decided to hike Mt Baden-Powell, which stands at 9,406 feet and is by far the highest elevation I’ve ever traversed. Many use this trail as a means of training for Mt Whitney. The views were stunning and the trail (like most in the San Bernardino area) is well-maintained. I’m personally very fond of trails that either connect or intertwine with the PCT and this is definitely one of them. Switchbacks aplenty, this hike was certainly strenuous, but not as physically demanding as I had previously envisioned. I definitely recommend this trail to anyone wanting to summit Baldy, Jacinto or Gorgonio and looking to test their might (or endurance
