We got to the trailhead at 6:30am. It was cloudy and it started sprinkling a little bit, I guess that’s why there were only 2 other cars on the parking lot. We ascended through the pct trail, and right away started with all the switchbacks. Personally I thought it was gonna be a tougher hike due to all the switchbacks. I felt it more like a moderate hike, but it still definitely gave me quite a workout. By the time we got to the summit it was 10am. The sun was fully out and there was a pleasant breeze. We enjoyed the beautiful view and met an elderly couple that been hiking for many years. They told us about the Wally Waldron tree, so I could resist to take a few pictures of the 1500 year old tree. This is one hike I hope to repeat very very soon.
