This quite possibly may be the best view in all of Sedona. But first, you need to work for those views. They say the best views come after the hardest climb, right?
Coming from the valley, the elevation is what is always the challenge for me. Although, this challenge is definitely helping with that.
The start of the trail is full of vegetation and shade- which was welcoming, especially on a rocky incline. After a couple miles up, it does taper off a bit to a meadow with beautiful views of Mt. Humphrey’s and wild flowers.
Once you’re towards the top, if you go left you are rewarded with the most amazing views of Sedona. It is absolutely breathtaking! I hiked both sides, and unfortunately the other side of the mountain reaped more fire devestation and definitely wasn’t as beautiful. Lots of broken trees and damage.
Overall, it’s a lovely hike. I highly recommend hiking poles because hiking down the last couple miles is extremely rocky, with lose gravel. I slipped a few times. I would definitely do this hike again. The views are so incredible.

Thank you!
I think you miss labeled the hike. This is not Bill Williams Mountain. But, I really like your pictures. Congrats on completing the Wilson Mountain hike.
