Taking a Monday off to complete this hike with some of my best friends was the best decision ever!! I'm normally a girl who hits the trail before the sun comes out, but today we didn't get started until 9:30. It was warm, but not overly hot. I was surprised that there was some snow on the trail about 2 miles in. Enough snow, that we lost the trail a couple of times, and even had to pull out the spikes for a portion of it.  I think we blazed our own trail at one point because of the snow blockage, but regardless we made it to the top without too many hiccups. Gorgeous 360* views from the top. Only saw 2 other people the entire hike….the beauty of hiking on a Monday. After passing the majority of the snow on the way back down the mountain we ran the rest of the way to the parking lot. This was a great little hike! Not too long, and not overly strenuous, but still a little challenging. I will definitely be coming back to do this one again. I clocked this at just under 8 miles and it took us 3 hours and 12 minutes to complete.
