We had made initial plans and they kept changing. Finally we decided to hike Elden. The morning was nice with clear skies. The only downside was there was absolutely no wind which made it feel a lot hotter. The hike was fun. The Alpine trees toward the top were really pretty. We enjoyed some time sitting on the summit, on a rock, talking and refueling.
