Where do I start? Damn.

So I have sort-of attempted this hike a handful of times (sort-of meaning I was supposed to hike with a group, and I ended up waiting for them just for them to bail, last minute)

This time was different; I knew exactly what I wanted, and I knew I was going to succeed.

I arrived at the Trailhead around 6am, Saturday morning. The weather was perfect for a hike, extremely refreshing. There were a large amount of people setting off to do what I was determined to do: summit the tallest peak in Southern California – San Gorgonio!

Skimming over a lot of details, I ended up reaching the peak and meeting a few extremely friendly people along the way! On my way down, i ended up injuring my knee and it was excruciating the entire way down.

In total it took 12 hours, with half of that because of my knee injury.

That being said, i would not take that trail back for the world, I'm extremely proud of what I accomplished, and i am looking forward to submitting at least 3 more before the end of the year (after my knee fully heals, of course)
