Um…we saw a tarantula within 5 minutes of passing the tarantula sign at the trailhead! My sister stepped right over it w/o seeing it. Not too much to report otherwise. We ended up (because of time) having to cut our hike a bit short as we were concerned about the park closing. Nice hike a few parts of the trail were very narrow and a bit treacherous. Can be hot on the trail.
