Hiked with two of my best friends, husband Scott and kindred spirt Samantha.
Beautiful variety of plants, insects, and terrain. (‘Socially distanced' from Poison Oak.) Parts of trail were easy walking paths while others required balancing and limbo skills (tree over trail…trail missing…). For me this was unexpected and fun!
Learned about myself and friends. I get giddy in altitude, my husband is a great sport, and when Samantha says, “It's just around the corner,” she's referring to something other than our destination.
