I knew this would be a challenge after Cucamonga and that I would get left behind with the group. One girl in the group was someone I've hiked with before and she was training for Whitney, so I asked if she would stay with me and she agreed. I gave myself a goal to summit up via ski hut in under 4 hours. With my friend's help and support, I name it up in 3.45hrs. My legs kept cramping and I was eating salt tabs the whole way up. I felt so slow, like my legs weren't moving. I did it and going down to the notch was a piece of cake.
